- What time are the services?
Sunday at 9:00 am (traditional) and 6:00 pm (contemporary). The services lasts approximately 1 hour.
- What should I wear?
Dress in a way that is comfortable for you. Most people at Emory dress casually.
- What are the services like?
Emory's 9:00 worship service is a traditional liturgical service. There are several hymns, scripture readings, an offering, prayers, an anthem, and a sermon. Everything is mapped out for you in the worship bulletin, so there won't be any surprises.
The 6:00 pm service is called " Keep It Real" an informal contemporary service with a message, sharing persoanal stories, information, ideas, contemporary music and fellowship time.
- What do you offer for children?
Every Sunday we have a children's message during the service. At 10:15 there are sunday school classes for all ages. There is a nursery available for the 9:00 am service and children are always welcome to stay in the service.
- Do you have any Small Groups?
There are variety of small groups of different styles that meet during the week at Emory Church.
- What is your church passionate about?
We are passionate about Jesus, being in community, reaching out, and helping others!
- What if I'm not Methodist?
That's totally fine! Everyone is welcome!
- What about communion?
We have communion in both services on the first Sunday of every month.
The United Methodist Church has an open communion table.
