About the event
We’re excited to announce that confirmation classes are open for all youth in grades 7-12! Vicki Bridges and Pastor Ryan will be co-leading. Confirmation is an opportunity for young people to explore their faith, connect with their church family, learn more about the scriptures, and understand their Methodist heritage. Our confirmation class will be six sessions on Sundays after church from 10:30-11:30. We’ll have food every week and provide each student with a CEB Student Bible designed for confirmands. Here are the dates and tentative topics. The goal is to help the students understand their confirmation vows and connect their faith to the world they live in. At the confirmation ceremony they’re invited to publicly affirm their decision to follow Christ.
- March 17 - Session 1 (Connect with Self)
- March 24 - Session 2 (Connect with God)
- April 7 - Session 3 (Connect with Church)
- April 21 - Session 4 (Connect with Community)
- May 5 - Session 5 (Connect with Heritage)
- May 19 - Session 6 (Connect with Creation)
- May 26 - Confirmation Ceremony
