God's people are called to give generously for many reasons. Among them:

• We give because God first gave to us. (John 3:16)

• We give because we love God. (2 Corinthians 9:6-7)

• We give because we are called to generosity. (Luke 3:11)

• We give to share the gospel of Jesus Christ. (James 2:15-16)

• We give because we can do more for our community together than alone. (Acts 4:32-33)
